My stay at Chateau Star River Shanghai Minhang was quite a mixed bag. While the rooms were fantastic with an extremely comfortable King bed and a good coffee maker, the service left a lot to be desired. The dining experience was really good though, with a great variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which I really appreciated. The location, however, is not ideal without a car, and I found myself stuck eating at the hotel for most meals.
